Children are offered a healthy snack during the morning and afternoon sessions. This is a learning opportunity for the children, developing skills such as cutting, spreading, mixing and pouring. This also provides an opportunity for language development though social interactions with friends and Key Workers. We frequently use produce from our orchard garden to cook and taste. Milk and water is available throughout the day.
Children can book to attend a lunchtime session where parents/carers provide a packed lunch for their child. Milk and water is available. Lunchtime is supervised by qualified Key Workers who encourage healthy eating and provide fun learning opportunities. There are limited spaces available - please book in advance at reception if you wish your child to stay for lunch and we will check availability.
Breakfast/After School Club
Fruit, toast and cereals are available for children who attend Nursery before and after school. Simple healthily cooking activities are also available. Again, spaces are limited so please book in advance.
